Suggestions:
Prioritize Scannability: Eliminate dense paragraphs. Use bullet points, active voice, and plenty of white space, so the "big picture" is accessible within seconds.
Use Declarative Graphics: Ensure every figure is self-explanatory and keep all labels legible from 3 feet away.
Emphasize High-Contrast Design: Stick to a clean, simple layout with dark text on a light background for maximum readability.
Design for Engagement: Don't crowd the board with every detail. Use a QR code to link to your full data or contact info.
Foster Connection: Remember that the poster is just a backdrop for you. Stay open to questions and use this as a chance to network. Engaging with clinicians and fellow researchers is where the most exciting collaborations and "aha!" moments actually happen.
