DIRECTOR, CLINICAL EDUCATION
RESPIRATORY THERAPY PROGRAM
Full-time faculty position with responsibilities in clinical education coordination and instruction in classroom, laboratory, clinical settings for an accredited respiratory therapy program. Coordinate the clinical experience of the respiratory therapy students. Minimum qualifications include Bachelor degree required from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE); Bachelor Science degree or Master’s degree in related field preferred. RRT credential – valid, unencumbered respiratory care practitioner license in Michigan required; Ohio license preferred. Five years clinical experience and two years of experience teaching in an accredited respiratory care program, either as an appointed faculty member or as a clinical preceptor required. Base salary $55,571-$62,125, negotiable based on education and experience. RESPIRATORY THERAPY INSTRUCTOR
Full-time faculty position teaching in the theory, lab, and clinical settings for the Respiratory Therapy Program, a CoARC accredited program.  Duties include teaching assigned courses and developing/maintaining course content and appropriate instructional materials for the courses assigned.   Qualifications include bachelor’s degree required; bachelor or master’s degree in related field preferred. RRT credential – valid, unencumbered respiratory care practitioner license in Michigan required; Ohio license desirable. Four years’ experience as a RRT with at least two years’ in clinical respiratory care; minimum two years’ experience teaching in an accredited respiratory care program, as an appointed faculty member clinical preceptor required. Evidenced teaching skill and ability to identify and implement assessment of student strategies and practices. Base salary $50,571-$62,125, negotiable based on education and experience.
