The Department of Public Health and Health Sciences, School of Health Professions and Studies (SHPS), seeks highly qualified candidates for a clinical track faculty position in our new Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy degree completion program.  In anticipation of a Fall 2017 program start date, we would like to fill this position no later than Spring 2017.  This position has an administrative responsibilities in that successful applicant is responsible for coordinating the clinical education component of the program. 
The Department of Public Health and Health Sciences has three graduate and seven undergraduate programs (www.umflint.edu/PubHealth)   including clinical degree programs in Nurse Anesthesia, Clinical Laboratory Science, Radiation Therapy, and now Respiratory Therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Health Related Field
  • Credential of Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Three years’ full-time experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Two years’ experience as an instructor in Respiratory Therapy accredited program
  • Candidates must exhibit proficiency in curriculum design, clinical instruction and evaluation, and have a strong commitment to cultural diversity.
